About Getatvjob.com founder and former tv sports anchor/reporter Mike Perlow

Perlow Productions and Getatvjob.com were founded by Mike Perlow in April 2003. Perlow's more than twenty years working in every aspect of television production give him an in-depth knowledge of the industry and what it takes to produce high quality video productions and be an effective and successful broadcast journalist. He has placed dozens of clients in jobs with television stations all over the United States and Canada. Mike also provides media training and job placement assistance to physicians, lawyers and entrepreneurs on MSNBC, Fox News Channel, CourtTV and other networks as qualified analysts. He has served as a consultant for Gotuit Media; helping them to expand their news and sports broadcasting OnDemand content. Getatvjob.com is a division of Perlow Productions; a full-service, national video production company.

Mike currently handles freelance sports anchoring and reporting duties for Comcast SportsNet and News 12 New Jersey. From 2002 to 2006, Perlow was a Sports Anchor/Reporter for New England Sports Network in Boston where he was nominated for a New England Sports Emmy. In April of 2005, he anchored the highest rated edition of NESN SportsDesk in the network's history. Prior to NESN, Perlow served as a producer for a nightly 60-minute live "Sports World" program for New England Cable News. He also shot, wrote, edited and anchored nightly tv sportscasts in Vermont and Florida and produced dozens of long-form features for NESN?s "Front Row" magazine program.

Mike has won Associated Press Broadcaster Awards for "Best Sportscast" and "Best Sports Reporter". Perlow speaks regularly at colleges and community-based organizations about the television industry and the challenges of finding a job within the industry.
